Policies In order to provide the best service for you and your pets we have established the following policies. Please note this is a general, nonbinding, and summary of our policies. Upon choosing Care-A-Lot Pet Sitting, client will be asked to sign a contract for our services which details these policies further.
PET ILLNESS
If it is a non-life threatening situation, we will contact you first, and then contact your vet. If your pet needs immediate care, we will contact your vet, then contact you. Should you not be available, your emergency contact will be called. Please specify an emergency contact who is familiar with your pets and you entrust to make decisions regarding their care. Should your vet's office be closed, your pet will be taken to the emergency clinic on State Highway 249 in Spring, TX. Should you or your emergency contact not be available, we will consult with your vet or emergency vet to decide the course of action in order to insure your pet receives the necessary care for their comfort. We hope this situation never arises, but should a decision regarding euthanasia/putting your pet to sleep be immediately necessary and you or emergency contact cannot be reached, you agree to entrust the attending vet and us to make the decision to insure your pet does not suffer. All veterinary costs will be borne by you.
